The new smartphone maker Realme, a sub-brand of Oppo has launched a new smartphone named Realme C1. It is the fourth device of Realme in India. The low-budget phone was launched alongside Realme 2 Pro.

From the past few months, Realme has a known name in the Indian smartphone market. It is consistently launching smartphones in the mid-range.

As India is a developing the country, most of the people are from middle class or lower middle class families.

Realme is targeting that price range (mid-range) and getting great responses.

Recently it launched a Realme C1 at the price of Rs 6,999. Let’s see all the features and full specification.

About Realme C1

The base storage model with has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. Realme C1 has a notched display and dual rear camera setup. These two are the main highlights of the device.

It also supports face unlock feature. The company claimed that it is backed by Artificial Intelligence. The front panel looks like Realme 2. You can find diamond cutting reflection design in this phone. We have seen this type of design on Realme 1 and Realme 2.

Body design of Realme C1

Realme continues the era of new body design of its own. Realme C1 design reminds you as Realme 2. You can easily mark it the front.

It does not have the newer waterdrop-style notch like Realme 2 Pro. Instead of this, it has a rectangular notch. The phone feels slightly lighter when you compared it to Realme 2.

It has a fiberglass back cover with a 2.5D glass finish. You can find diamond cutting reflection design in this phone. This makes the phone look very nice. The phone feels very stylish as compared to price.

It has a 3.5mm audio jack. In the top, you will find a secondary mic for Active noise cancellation with dedicated mic.

Realme C1 has a 6.2-inch HD with 19: 9 aspect ratio. The screen resolution is 720 x 1520 pixels and ~271 ppi density.

It contains Corning gorilla glass 3 on the display to protect it against odd drops.

The as bottom bezel does not have any work so, you will get the on screen navigation bar. Which will not appear when you operate a full screen app but at the moment you touch the screen the bar will appear.

Amazing Camera and Sensors of Realme C1

Realme C1 has 13MP+2MP dual rear cameras. It also supports Portrait mode. It is nice to see a dual camera at this price point.

The selfie camera is a 5MP. As the company said it is backed by Artificial Intelligence, you can see whitening and smoothening the skin.

It also performs well in bright outdoors with AI mode turned off. The front camera also offers several features like filters, sticker as well as bokeh mode.

There is no front LED flash in Realme C1.

It contains sensors like Accelerometer, proximity, compass. There is no fingure-print sensor in it.

Software, Processor, And Performances

Realme C1 packs with the 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor. One can get the best processor in this price range.

It comes with Adreno 506 which gives you a better result in the gaming sessions. You will get a high-end gaming experience in this low budget phone.

Realme C1 runs ColorOS 5.1, which is based on Android Oreo 8.1. The phone also supports features like clone apps as well as “full-screen multitasking”. It lets you use apps like WhatsApp while playing games, watching videos etc. in a landscape mode.

Realme C1 only comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage option. It may feel a little less, but manageable.

If incase the internal storage become low, then you can use a Micro SD card to expand the storage upto 256GB as Realme offers a dedicated slot for Micro SD card. In the age of hybrid slot, a dedicated slot for Micro SD card is rare.


Than battery is more important now a days as we spent most of the time with our smartphone. So we want a phone with good battery backup. Because no one wants to carry a heavy Powerbank or electric board for charging their handset all the time.

Realme C1 comes with a non-removable 4230 mAh Li-ion battery. It should last a day and a half with normal to heavy usage. There is no fast charging support and should not except in this price.

Release date, Price and Color of Realme C1

Realme C1 is launched alongside the Realme 2 Pro at an event in Noida on September 27.

As I mentioned earlier, the 2GB RAM and 16GB model costs Rs 6,999.
