Writing can be sometimes a daunting task.
There comes a time when it seems that you’re staring in a blank screen and your mind doesn’t want to work at all. No ideas pop up and no inspiration comes in. However, we all can stay motivated while writing and get inspired to write.
It’s a matter of maintaining the passion, effort, learning, and consistency to achieve the kind of results we want. Never let that passion of yours in writing to subsides.
Think about how you love writing – not just because of the money you’ll earn, but because of the rewarding feeling you get after creating a content. Never lose the effort.
Be persevering and active in finding new inspirations and topics.
Read a lot. Make new experiences. Create new adventures. Continue to learn. Make use of the helpful tools in writing available today and get inspired to write. And lastly, be consistent. Each time you feel like giving up, remind yourself that you are a writer, and there’s a reason why you choose to get started writing.
Self-Belief and Perseverance
If you belief in yourself and have patience, that’s great motivation to keep writing.
Let’s see how?
What keeps me motivated is knowing that all of the work I put in now will make my life easier in few months as traffic starts to flow in. Furthermore, also take a lot of time to write about topics that you may not know a lot about that people are asking questions about.
This can make and help to develop an authority in the long term.
My biggest piece of advice to content writers is that it’s a marathon, not a sprint. There is no way to push traffic cheaply without
being patient. If you want immediate results, look into paying for traffic and slowly taper off once your organic traffic starts kicking in.

Ask yourself “why am I writing?
If you don’t have answer for this, then as soon as you get bored or tired, you will go do something that is easier or more entertaining. Writing is hard and requires a lot of focus to do well.
The second key is: trade “motivation for habit. If you have an appointment with yourself at a regular time, you will more consistently write.
It’s much better to write consistently in short bursts rather than write inconsistently in long bursts. Sporadic output over time ends up leading to less total output. A big part of staying motivated is simply sitting down when you don’t feel motivated and doing it anyway.
The motivation will come with action and you will always get inspired to write.
Draft an outline
When preparing an article it’s best to have a clear outline of what your goal is. Without direction writing can become frustrating and scatterbrained. Having an outline keeps me on pace to get my articles published on time.
Trying to pound out an article in one sitting can be daunting.
I like to take a brief walk every couple of hours to clear my head. Not only does this give my mind a break, it allows me a different perspective to tackle ideas that I’m stuck on. Sometimes just a quick change of scenery will inspire me or help break through a case of writer’s block.
Write about content you are interested in & excited about
Always go for the topic in which you are passionate about it and have heartily interested.
Number one rule is that you only write pieces on topics you are genuinely passionate about/interested in. Writing simply for the sake of writing is the quickest way to ensure burn out. At the end of the day, If you write because you love to share information and learning on a variety of topics, not simply for a paycheck.
It’s understood many may not have the same luxury to be able to pick and choose who they write for or what they write about.
If this is the case, I strongly recommend starting your own blog where you will have the freedom to write about whatever your heart desires.
Every writer has their favorite topics and writing style and that can so often be lost when we are writing for others.
Creating a space where you can write about whatever you want and in whatever format you prefer can help keep the fire for writing burning strong.

Read the articles of others
Often times, we unintentionally become surrounded with our own work and forget to read what other incredible writers are producing. I find so much inspiration from reading the works of other writers on a variety of topics.
For articles I find particularly inspirational, I take note of the authors writing style, vocabulary, etc.
Rather than see myself in competition with other writers, view the work of others as simply more material you can learn and grow from!
Designated writing time
It would often become overwhelmed with the research and writing that would be required for my articles.
Found yourself rushing through other research studies/articles and then trying to write my own piece as quickly as possible. This made the process so much more stressful and un-enjoyable.
I have since designated a few hours each day to my writing. Knowing that I have a designated writing period puts my
mind at ease; I feel less rushed to write an entire article in one sitting.
This allows me to really dive into the research, compile my notes and write a comprehensive article all while enjoying the entire process!
Visualizing the end result best motivation to keep writing
Visualizing the end result, even though you know it may take months to start seeing results, is what keeps me motivated while writing.
I know what I am doing is something with extreme delayed gratification, but picturing the end goal in my mind while I’m writing keeps me motivated to keep going.
